What is Wine Shield?

Wine Shield is the ultimate wine preservation system.

 

Once a Wine Shield disc is inserted into any opened 750ml bottle of wine, a barrier to oxygen is immediately created which dramatically slows down the oxidation process. The floating lid will continue to remain on top of the wine as the bottle is emptied, with no obstruction to pouring. While still permitting a gentle “breathing” or “aeration” of the wine, Wine Shield will preserve the taste, nose and color of the wine for up to 5 days after the first glass is poured. Wine Shield mimics the flex-based tank system technique that winemakers utilize.
